A local woodturner is one of 40 artists whose work is included in this years McMichael Gallery Autumn Art Sale.
Hillsburgh artist Jennifer McKinnon of Turn-of-Fate Studio said the sale “is a ‘bucket list’ event.”
Over 180 artists and sculptors applied to be a part of the art sale showing how many talented individuals there are out there.
The jury selected the “cream of the crop,” and these are the 40 successful applicants.
This year’s McMichael Gallery Autumn Art Sale takes place the weekend of October 23 to 25.
The Opening Night Gala is on Oct. 23 from 6 to 10pm, with complimentary hors d’overes, parking and admission to art sale, and a cash bar.
The sale continues Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 5pm.
Parking is $5 and admission to art sale is free. Regular admission is required for gallery exhibits.
McMichael Gallery is located at 10365 Islington Avenue in Kleinburg, Ontario.
